Do you still own a TV?

We have one in the house (well, there's one in here but it was only for Bri's gaming habit). I wonder how many people still watch tv the good ol' fashioned way.

I download/stream almost everything that I watch. If you're interested in watching damn near anything click here. I was going to watch the Alberto Gonzales hearing, but since the shootings yesterday, you can't watch it. If you want to watch Fox, pick Fox 8. Fox 8 is New Orleans' station. If you wanna watch British tv, watch sky. It's amazing what you can get your fingers on these days, just thought I would share.

An important note: I can't get this site to work with firefox/mozilla based clients :( You'll need IE most likely to get the damn thing working. I always wonder what happened to being able to remove IE from your computer during the whole anti-trust agreement YEARS ago, they never did it.

(Am I also the only one wondering why no one on the New Orleans station has a fucking accent?)

More Apartment Hunting Hell

Whatever I find, I get one of two responses, a) "That's too fucking much." b) "That's too far from downtown."

And since when did blinds become an amenity?

The breakfast of champions

A cigarette, a soda, and a handful of M&M's is what I had for breakfast.

I check my email like forty times a day, I realized that yesterday. I have three different accounts for different jobs, two others for my paypal accounts, man, I can't wait for the day when I don't have to do this every fucking day!

I'm feeling a little bit tired right now, no idea why really, I slept from 10-6, which is a little bit less than usual, I was sleeping ten hours a day but I've just been too busy to get my usual.

Anyway I want to apologize for being a bitch, I got a few mails about people thinking I was talking about them asking me how to make some extra cash. Trust me, I messaged those people back and told them to remove the stick from their asses, so it wasn't you!!

I'm going to start a new vox blog all about that stuff, I'll update this post later with the address. Until then *tips hat* I need another m&m.

A friend of mine turned me on to an investment, I made twenty bucks last night, which is not too terribly shabby.

Anyway, I'm pretty excited about this, and if it works out, I'm going to share ^-^ Until my paypal goes through though, I'm not going to waste people's time.

Anyhoo my goal is to make a 100$, the hard way, then reinvest it. *crosses fingers* I have about fifty so far :D I'm really hoping it works out, for I need to make money to move, badly. Deposits on apartments are disgustingly high!

In other news, I spent 125$ on a weeks worth of groceries, am I the only one noticing the drastic rise in food costs related to the gas hike? I had to postpone the buying of much needed new glasses until after ninja panda the honorable biscuit eater (my kitty) gets fixed.

A handful of Magic Beans

Lately I've gotten a great deal of private messages, from people who saw my work for yourself posting.

One, I don't have a handful of magical fucking beans. Don't be rude to me when I tell you what you ask, and it sounds like too much work or unsavory. I am sick of hearing from people who peddle shiny shit on ebay telling me that the rates suck or that god, I have to put in atleast 10 hours a week?

Two, do not contact me if you're a greedy miserable fuck. I will not give you "methods" (aka, give me a packet of info so I don't have to figure things out on my own, because, gosh, working things out on my own is so motherfucking hard)
to insure your success. It's not my job to hold your hand.

Three, there are non-adult companies you can work for, yes. But will they hire you if you haven't done it before for at least six months? Probably not. The papillona agency I know hires non-adult texters, but they want you to be bilingual and have a long RELEVANT work history, sorry.

Four, no more begging me for magical beans. There is no such thing as a free lunch. I put in freakishly long hours on all of my gigs (and take a whole week off every month to recover so I don't murder anyone) and occasionally have nightmares relating to said work. Usually watching loads of tv during the recovery period and getting outdoors tend to alleviate nightmares (I just watched the first three seasons of the Sopranos, I have funny dreams about whops all night long. I can say whop, for I am a guinea!)

Five, I'm sorry if this bugged the people that I know, but I had to say it, I am sick of people messaging me about pyramid schemes they want me to help them market, other crap that is highly illegal that I'm not interested in! I do above board shit, so thanks but no thanks.

Is it just me or does his pose seem quite queer, the bathrobe, the nicely, well, better than my own bathroom, decorated by a woman's touch?

But really, I've been pondering something, people who use online/mobile phone dating/porn/adult services, well, they're just emotionally underdeveloped. Many exhibit signs of "the loser" (click to see) that are forewarned. I used to think most people had some good in them, but now, my views on humanity are beginning to change. I wonder if this is a bad or a good thing, me believing that the best in humanity was always there got me into some extremely sticky situations earlier on.

Now, I find it a great deal harder to find that glimmer of hope, I see more often that keen eye, the hunter seeker mechanism of someone searching for prey to attain and discard.

In other news, I've been getting hassling emails from one job's bosses because everyone isn't working and we need to work more. I'm pondering if I could find a better job, one with less interaction and less overhead, until that day, I will have to deal with nagging I suppose.

Other than that, this week has been crap :) I am finally over being sick, took days of drinking straight water and cutting down on smoking, but I won! Hah, take that HMO's that are far out of my price range!
